| We are a licensed specialty contracting firm offering
sales and installation of various "division ten" specialties for commercial
construction projects. Our customers are the finest architects and general
contractors in Northern California.
Chaix Company was founded by Denis Chaix on July 1, 1994, and incorporated in 1999. Our original location was a 200 square foot office at 14th and Broadway in Downtown Oakland. Our original "shop" was a 220 square foot residential garage. Chaix Company is a union contractor, and we are proud of our association with Millwrights Local #102 (Oakland). This union affiliation gave us a degree of credibility when we were just getting started. We were fortunate to secure work early on with prominent general contractors, and have continually maintained and built those relationships over the years. Chaix Company has always strived to offer the best possible products and service. We specialize in fast track tenant improvement projects, corporate campuses, hotels, convention centers, schools and churches. In 1999 we moved into our new building in the Eastlake district of Oakland,
featuring 1600 square feet of office space and 4,800 square feet of warehouse/shop
